About

LOMO is a cultural event exploring the intersection of motorcycles, film, photography, and the custom world.

After the sold-out success of our debut in 2025, LOMO returns in 2026 with an expanded programme. This year introduces new elements, including a dedicated photography exhibition, live Q&A sessions, and additional screenings in response to audience demand.

At its core, LOMO exists to celebrate creativity, freedom, and design through the lens of motorcycle culture — bringing together filmmakers, photographers, riders, builders, and enthusiasts from across the world.

Programme

This year we are holding three screenings at The Old Timber Store. Each screening shows the same carefully curated selection to give festival goers the maximum opportunity to catch the best short motorcycle films.

Alongside the screenings is the Photography Exhibition dotted throughout the venues along The Ropewalk. The exhibition is free to enter and we encourage you to take time and enjoy each venue's offering.

Film screenings

LOMO is a curated film and photography festival based in London, dedicated to motorcycle culture and the stories that surround it. We’re interested in films with a strong point of view — work that feels personal, intentional, and honest. We prioritise voice and perspective over scale or spectacle. If your film belongs in this world, we’d love to see it.

What We’re Looking For

What We’re Looking For

We welcome submissions from filmmakers working across motorcycle culture, including the custom world.

We’re particularly drawn to films that:

  • feel character-driven rather than performative
  • explore motorcycles as lived experience, not just objects
  • take creative risks, even if they’re imperfect
  • reflect a clear sense of authorship

Shorts or features. Documentary, narrative, or experimental.

If it feels true to you, submit it.

Submissions

Film submissions for LOMO open in March 2026.

All films must be submitted via FilmFreeway.

If you do not have a FilmFreeway account or If you have a genuine question that isn’t covered above, you can CONTACT US

We review every submission carefully and with context. Selected filmmakers will be contacted directly. Please note that due to the volume of submissions, we’re unable to provide individual feedback on films that are not selected..

What Happens If Your Film Is Selected

Selected films will screen at LOMO 2026 in London. Filmmakers may also be invited to take part in live Q&A sessions.LOMO values dialogue as much as screening — the conversations around the films matter.
