Introduction

We are SloMoCo Limited, a private company limited by shares, validly incorporated and existing under the laws of England and Wales (UK) with registration number 16840874 and whose registered office is at 177 Grange Road, London SE1 3FW together with its events and projects (“We”, “us” “our”, and the “Company”).

We are committed to providing you with the highest standard of data privacy in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and regulations under UK Law. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018). For the purposes of UK data protection law, the Company acts as the “data controller”.

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how we manage your personal data and protect your privacy. Our Policy outlines our purposes for collecting and processing your information, and how we process, collect, store, share, retain and secure your personal data to ensure that your rights are fulfilled. Our landing page, website and social media are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

1. How we collect personal data?

We collect personal data from you through different methods, including but not limited to:

• Email;
• Telephone contact;
• Use of our landing page, website, social media (including surveys, online forms, tickets for events, sales of merchandise and systems available on our website);
• Subscription to our services, publications or newsletters; and
• Request marketing to be sent to you.

We work closely with third parties and receive information about you from them as well. We also collect personal information from individuals who may refer you for our services or through third-party agents (to whom you may have expressed interest about our services or products).

1. Publicly available sources.

Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with our website, or social media we will automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies and other similar technologies. We may also receive technical data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies. 1. What personal data do we collect?

We processes your personal data based on how or why you are interacting with us, or depending on the type services we are providing you. The types of personal data we collect include but are not limited to: 

• Identity Data includes first name, maiden name, last name, title, date of birth, nationality and gender;
• Contact Data includes postal or delivery address, email address, telephone number, mobile number, social media account details and social media handles;
• Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and authorized bluetooth devices or wifi enabled devices paired with user devices;
• Profile Data includes your username and password, profile picture and other pictures uploaded, videos of you, film produced by you (shared by you or uploaded by you on our website or social media handles, or when you agree to appear on the films/videos created by us), purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses;
• Usage Data includes information about how you use our website, products and services;
• Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences; and
• Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.

We will only collect personal data necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Personal data might be collected online or offline. In all cases, a minimum standard of privacy protection will apply to all personal data. 

We do not routinely collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). It is possible for us to collect, use or store some Special Categories of Personal Data which you have volunteered in an email, during a telephone call, in a form submitted on our website or physically at our events as part of managing and responding to your bookings, requests, queries and complaints about our products and services.

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us. Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

1. Why do we process personal data?

We collect your personal data, as outlined above, to be processed for the purpose of enabling cooperation with the Company and specifically for: 

• To register you as a new customer;
• To provide you with a product or service including (a) manage payments, fees and charges; and (b) collect and recover money owed to us;
• To communicate with you with reference to the Company events;
• To manage our relationship with you which will include: (a) processing your complaints and requests and queries; (b) notifying you about changes to this Policy;
• Merchandise sales activities; 
• To enhance our services; 
• To provide technical support; 
• To enable you to complete a survey;
• To administer and protect our business and the landing page, the website and our social medias (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and hosting of data);
• To deliver relevant website and social media content and online advertisements to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of the advertising we serve to you; and
• To use data analytics to improve our website, social medias products/services, customer relationships and experiences and to measure the effectiveness of our communications and marketing.

We may use your personal data to send you marketing communications, such as by post, email, telephone, SMS, or social media, including the following types of communications:

• News, offers and promotions about our products and services;
• Information about products and services from or relating to us or our related third parties; and
• Market research and customer satisfaction surveys.

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for processing. The lawful bases we rely on include: (i) performance of a contract; (ii) compliance with legal obligations; (iii) our legitimate interests (including operating and promoting our events); and (iv) consent, where required.

You have the right to opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time, or object to the processing of your data for marketing, by contacting us through one of the methods under Section ‎12 below.

We care about your safety and are committed to provide you with all the means possible under all applicable laws to enable you to exercise your rights. Your rights include: 

• accessing your personal data;
• requesting details as to how and why your personal data is collected and processed; 
• correcting, updating or amending personal data;
• limiting data processing to a specific purpose;
• requesting the deletion of your personal data held by the Company (unless the Company is under a legal obligation to maintain your data); and
• withdrawing your consent - this includes your right to withdraw consent to us using your personal information for marketing purposes.

For further information, or should you wish to exercise your data protection rights, please contact us through one of the methods under Section ‎12 below. Further, under UK GDPR, your additional rights include the right to data portability and the right to object to automated decision‑making. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.

1. Sharing/Transfer of Personal data

We may share your personal data within the Company projects and events and our third-party service providers worldwide to fulfill the purposes of processing described in this Policy. We will always ensure that your personal data is kept secure and protected. We will safely store your personal data on our servers, which may be located outside of the country where the personal data is collected. 

Our website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave our website, we encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

We may share your personal data with third parties for the following purposes: 

• Legal and professional advisers for marketing and analytical services and to protect our legitimate interests and in connection with the performance and enforcement of our contract with you;
• Finance, insurance and credit providers for invoicing;
• Government bodies and regulators in connection with audits, customer queries, invoicing, legal requirements, improving our service, progress a transaction; and
• IT, Digital, Technology and Telecoms provider in connection with audits, customer queries, application security and support, improving our service. 

We may transfer your personal data to jurisdictions that are outside your country of origin which may not have similar data protection laws. We commit that we will take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that your personal data has an appropriate adequate level of protection and safeguards to comply with applicable data protection laws.

Where we transfer your personal data outside the UK, we will ensure that an adequate level of protection is provided, including by using the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or other appropriate safeguards approved under UK GDPR.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
